Stanley Black & Decker has established a temporary Joplin ToolBank using the ToolBank USA model. The Joplin ToolBank enables members of the community and volunteer groups to borrow the donated Stanley Black & Decker tools to repair and improve their community, and is located at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and 26th Street.

JOPLIN, Mo., (October 20, 2011) Stanley Black & Decker today announced a $350,000 tool donation to 
the Joplin, Missouri, rebuilding efforts. The announcement was made at Franklin Technology Center in 
front of the students who will be benefitting from the majority of the tool donation. The tools, which are 
currently being used on the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's Joplin project, include Stanley, Bostitch, 
DeWalt, Porter-Cable, and more. After completion of the EMHE Project, the Home Builders Association 
of Southwest Missouri will gather, inventory and distribute the tools to the building trades classes at 
Franklin Technology Center and other area technical schools who lost their tools in the May 22nd storm.
