Ugandans Abroad (NEW YORK)– Rabbi Gershom Sizomu is a Ugandan Jew on a mission.

The African holy man, who recently lost an election back home, is hoping to win the hearts and minds of new supporters in New York and beyond.

Rabbi Gershom Sizomu has been hailed as a visionary.

Sizomu recently arrived in the United States with a double-barrel agenda– to raise money for an interfaith Ugandan medical clinic, and to ease the fears of racial and religious intolerance by raising the issue of diversity within the international Jewish community.

The rabbi is the religious leader of the Abayudaya Jewish Community in Uganda
