Google for Nonprofits Launched in the U.S.! / Announcing the YouTube “Good Work” Project

Google for Nonprofits Launched in the U.S.!
On March 16, we launched the new and improved Google for Nonprofits program in the U.S. Eligible nonprofits can sign up through a single application process to access our suite of product offerings designed for nonprofits: up to $10,000 a month in advertising on Google AdWords to reach more donors, free or discounted Google Apps to cut IT costs and operate more efficiently, and premium features for YouTube and our mapping technologies to raise awareness of your cause. We’ve also developed other online resources such as educational videos, case studies and better ways for you to connect with other nonprofits. Finally, we launched the Google for Nonprofits Marketplace where Certified Google Partners offer their services at a free or discounted rate. If you're new to the program, apply here.  If you have already been approved for Google GrantsGoogle Apps for NonprofitsYouTube for Nonprofits or Google Earth Outreach, your account will remain active.  However, we encourage you to apply for the complete Google for Nonprofits program if you wish to access all of our exclusive products and new resources.  If you work for an organization outside the U.S., know that we're internationalizing as fast as we can!

Announcing the YouTube "Good Work" Project

We know that finding the funding and resources to create compelling video can be difficult. That’s why YouTube is introducing “Good Work,” a program in partnership with the Cannes Advertising Festival. Through Good Work, YouTube is matching nonprofits with the best ad professionals in the world, and asking these creative professionals to make videos for nonprofits. The best videos will be featured at a showcase at the Cannes Advertising Festival and on the YouTube homepage. If your organization has nonprofit status issued by your government and a YouTube channel, fill out the brief questionnaire at youtube.com/goodwork to participate.
